In the Bible, Book of Acts, we read that disciples of Jesus – commanded by Jesus to preach the Gospel – were ordered by the rulers and religious leaders to stop preaching and teaching in His name (Acts 4). But Jesus’s disciples replied, “Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God’s sight to obey you rather than God; for we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” (Acts 4:19, 20) 

Of what harm, what threat was the truth they spoke?

Truth threatens the glory and riches made from falsehood!  Acts 19 specifically reports that workmen who received “a good income” from the business of idolatry were disturbed that the Apostle Paul was preaching that “man-made gods are no gods at all.” A silver-smith, Demetrius, maker of silver shrines of the goddess Artemis, complained:

     “There is danger not only that our trade will lose its good name, but also that the temple of the great goddess Artemis will be discredited, and the goddess herself, who is worshipped throughout the province of Asia and the world, will be robbed of her divine majesty.”

Here is the great danger of YAHWEH’S truth; it threatens the ‘power’ of Satan! Truth disrobes the false majesty of the demon-world and impedes the flow of filthy lucre – dirty money- into its coffers. To keep up a deception, truth must be held down! Even in commerce, Satan works hard to make good look evil and evil look good. (“We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers of this dark world.” Ephesians 6:12)  

In what ways does this apply to the case of the FTC v Daniel Chapter One?

The DCO ministry has been ordered by the U.S. federal trade commission to stop preaching and teaching the truth of Jesus (what we have seen for the past 25 years!). Overseer Jim Feijo, in addition, has been ordered to sign and send out a government-written letter saying, in essence, that God-created herbs and nutrients do not help to heal and that only conventional cancer treatment is safe and effective for cancer (Not true!). The original federaltrade commission letter sent consumers to the NCI (National Cancer Institute). Why?!

Does the TRUTH discredit the god of the National Cancer Industry? Does the truth of Yahweh’s Creation threaten to rob that god – with its oncology treatments of chemotherapy and radiation -- of its false majesty? After all, as the Ephesian silver-smith Demetrius said, they “receive a good income from this business”.

A brief overview of facts about the goddess Artemis from Greek mythology: She was the virgin huntress, called “Queen of the beasts”. Her arrows could bring sudden death and disease to girls and women. She was the goddess of Nature and Animals. (The FDA raided Daniel Chapter One in September 2010, to search for and seize any representation that any DCO product could be used to treat “any illness in man or other animal”. The U.S. government considers us “animals” (?!); our Creator YAHWEH says clearly in His Word that we are created in His image and are higher than the animals!) Artemis was the daughter of Zeus from an erotic escapade. Zeus was depicted by Greek artists as seated in majesty, (to the only God our Savior be majesty! Jude 25), or standing, striding forward with a thunderbolt in his raised right hand. He was called Father Zeus (only YAHWEH is to be called Father, Matthew 23:9), the King of the gods (YAHWEH is King of kings and Lord of lords! Rev. 17:14), god of the sky, thunder, and lightning (YAHWEH is the true God of the sky and elements! Job 28:25, 26 and 37:15, 18), and the god of law, order, and justice (YAHWEH is the Judge, the Ruler, of all the earth! Genesis 18:25).

Jupiter is the Roman equivalent of Zeus. The symbol for a prescription drug, big R connected to a little x, is the symbol of Zeus-Jupiter – the protection of the mythological god was sought in medical contexts.

Back to the Biblical book of Acts! When a riot broke out in Ephesus after Demetrius worked the people up about Paul’s preaching, the city clerk quieted the rowdy crowd shouting, “Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!” by saying,   

      “You have brought these men here, though they have neither robbed temples nor blasphemed our goddess. If Demetrius and his fellow craftsmen have a grievance against anybody, the courts are open and there are proconsuls. They can press charges. If there is anything further you want to bring up, it must be settled in a legal assembly.” (Acts 19:37- 39)

Who is it, really, that has a grievance against what Daniel Chapter One preaches and teaches? Why, and for what purpose? Let the writer(s) behind the FTC letter saying only chemotherapy and radiation has been scientifically proven safe and effective come forward! And then give Daniel Chapter One an unbiased, uncorrupt, fair trial.
