This site was created to share with you the ongoing battle between Daniel Chapter One and the Federal Trade Commission, a battle of historic importance between a small ministry and a treacherous bureaucratic agency.
Daniel Chapter One stands upon truth and righteousness, upon the Word of God and the Constitution.
The FTC stands for much of what is wrong in big government and the pharmaceutical industry today: the individual they consider "irrelevant" and stupid; "unable". The FTC does not acknowledge an Almighty Creator, nor individual liberty given by Him and protected by the Constitution. They mocked us in court -- and blocked all the Daniel Chapter One witnesses who traveled to testify.
The FTC first came against Daniel Chapter One nearly 3 years ago for sharing (truthful) testimonies and information about God's healing creation. In their Star Chamber they found Daniel Chapter One guilty of one thing only: not having drug-standard double-blind placebo-controlled studies. . . and they ordered the ministry to cease-and-desist, despite not a single complaint in 25 years.
They have ordered that we sign a letter they wrote, a deceptive letter saying that only conventional cancer treatment has been proven safe and effective in humans, and send it to thousands of people.
But Daniel Chapter One cannot bear false witness.
So it is that Daniel Chapter One fights on for the right to teach and preach the ways of our Lord and natural healing.

What
does the United States of America want from the tiny Christian health
ministry Daniel Chapter One? They want monetary civil penalties, a
permanent injunction, rescission or reformation of contracts,
restitution, the disgorgement of ill-gotten gains and other equitable
relief for alleged violations of a final Commission order to cease and
desist. WOW! Sounds serious! What did Daniel Chapter One do? Healed people of illness including cancer. Helped people in their suffering. How many people were misled, harmed, or killed by this Ministry? Not one. In over a quarter of a century no one was ever harmed, suffered, complained or died because of Daniel Chapter One. No one has ever sued us except the United States of America.
Daniel Chapter One has filed suit against the Federal Trade
Commission.
Daniel Chapter One has worked with home churches worldwide
and here in the USA. The work has brought Jim and Tricia Feijo to stand with
the home church in Poland and to be there when Communism fell. They also were
ministering to the home church in China and marched with the Chinese in
Tiananmen Square. Many other places from Greece to East Berlin and Jerusalem
were stops in their ministry.
This independent ministry was originally formed as a health
outreach and nutrition center.It was in
this manner that funds were raised to support underground home meetings in foreign
countries. Daniel Chapter One evolved into a healing ministry and developed
nutritional products to meet the needs of any and every one who sought their
help.
Over the last few years the FTC has vigorously pursued and
through unconstitutional methods tyrannized and oppressed Daniel Chapter One.
Dragged through the FTC court for nearly three years, the little ministry has
stood its ground as the Federal agency threatened them, mocked and maligned
them, violated their privacy, invaded their credit card and bank accounts, and
forcibly took the names of people who bought 7 Herb Formula, GDU, Bio Mixx and Bio
Shark, the four products many people used for their cancers. Through coercion the
FTC has sought to suppress this knowledge and destroy Daniel Chapter One. They
have officially censored these products and Daniel Chapter One.

Week to week, we receive such communications. Daniel Chapter One -- along with YOU the consumer -- has been reaping the results of FTC tyranny, suffering lack of goods like we (Jim and Tricia) experienced living in Poland and in China years ago.
When products are in short supply, people go without. Not the elite, but the common people, "everyman", suffers. What we experienced living under communism, is that you cannot simply "run to the store" and "pick up" whatever you want.
Free Speech Forbidden As of April 1, 2010, the FTC has ordered Daniel Chapter One to discontinue providing the full scope of health information about God-given vitamins and nutrients.
Our products will still be available as usual. The purchase and sale of the products will not be prohibited. However, if the FTC order is upheld, Daniel Chapter One will be unable to share information about how the products interact with diseases, but we will not turn away people faithfully seeking God-given nutrients.

Statement of Daniel Chapter One Regarding Recent FTC Action to Shut It Down
Portsmouth,
Rhode Island (January 5, 2010). On
Christmas Eve 2009, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) ordered Daniel Chapter
One — a Christian ministry — to bring to a halt its outreach program offering
an array of dietary supplements and herbal remedies that numerous people had
tried and found helpful in their bouts with cancer and other illnesses.

Psychological coercion is one technique used by communist governments to get
people to conform. We Americans are supposed to be protected from such
unethical practices by The Constitution and The Bill of Rights. . .
But are we,
and are we really free to hold and voice our own opinions?
As
you might know Daniel Chapter One has been battling the US government
for the last 3 years. This attack against our ministry is without cause.
We have never harmed a single person in 27 years. The purpose of this
letter is not to present our plight with the Federal Trade Commission
but to share with you my heartfelt impressions relating back to
elementary school.
I recall my school experience from a poor hard-working
family in a bad neighborhood and all its life challenges. In those days I
never really saw my parents; my mom was a maid for several Jewish
families. By the way, we did not and still don't hate them. Actually we
were and will always be grateful to them and love them like family! My
Dad was working in the mills, sweat mills as they were called. I visited
them many times and vividly recall the heat and noise, horrible
conditions. Besides the long hard days in the mills he also, like my
mom, was a servant to other Jewish families.
